Swim 1. Where does the swim start? Swim legs are in the Pumice stone Passage in a straight line back to Transition. The start location is announced on the day 2. Do I get a swimming cap? No, you need to provide your own. You can usually purchase swimming caps at the Run Inn shop tent 3. Can I wear a wetsuit? This will be announced on the morning of the race. Wet suits are only permitted if the water temperature is below 22° After the swim your torso (upper body) must be covered!
Bike 1. How many laps is the cycle race? (subject to change) Short course - 1 laps Long course - 2 laps in Race 1 & 4 and 4 laps in Race 2 & 3 2. Can I take my bike through registration/numbering? No. Bikes must be racked in the racks provided outside Registration area before entering registration/numbering 3. What do I do with the sticker? The sticker should be placed on your bike stem 4. When can I take my helmet off? You must rack your bike before undoing your helmet and helmet must be on and done up before you touch your bike 5. Team - When should the cyclist prepare for their leg? Once the swim is started the cyclist should wait beside their bike in the teams area 6. When can I get my bike out? Bikes can be taken out after the last runner comes across the line. There will be an announcement and all bikes must be taken out via the bike gates. If you take your bike over a fence you will be disqualified. Bike security sticker needs to match the race number on your arm in order to remove your bike 7. Can I get my bike out early? You must speak to one of the TQ officials (not the Race Director) to request early release of your bike

Teams 1. Where is the Teams Area? Teams Area is up the top end of Transition where cyclists exit 2. Where do the runners exit? Runners leave via the lower end of the transition area where it says ‘Run Exit’ 3. When should the runner prepare for their leg? Once the cyclist is on the road the runner should wait in the Teams Area ready to get tagged to start 4. When should the cyclist prepare for their leg? Once the swim is started the cyclist should wait beside their bike in the teams area
Timing Chips 1. Do all team members have to wear the timing chip? Yes, the swimmer must pass the chip to the cyclist and the cyclist to the runner 2. Which leg do I have to wear the timing chip on? Doesn’t matter, as long as it’s on your leg 3. Can I wear my timing chip on my arm? No, the timing chip must be on your leg 4. What do I do if I lose my timing chip? Please report loss of chip to one of the race officials 5. When do I give back my timing chip/arm band? Hand timing chip/arm band to the officials at the finish line 6. When can I find out my time? Times will be released on the Bribie Tri website (www.bribietri.com) on the Monday morning following the race. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category will be announced at the presentation and random draws after the race

1. Where are the toilets? Toilets are located for participant and general public use adjacent to the transition area. Additional port a loos will also be available for use. Toilets are also located near the swim start - 200m towards the bridge 2. Where is the First Aid tent? First Aid is in the Registration tent after Registration closes 3. Can I number myself? Do I get a swimming cap? No, you need to provide your own 6. Where can I put my bags? All bags should be placed in the baggage tent. No responsibility is taken by the Race Organiser for loss or damage to bags left in this area. DO NOT leave valuables in your bags 7. Where is the baggage tent? The baggage tent is at the top end inside the transition area. No responsibility is taken by the Race Organiser for loss or damage to bags left in this area. DO NOT leave valuables in your bags 8. Where are the maps? The maps are in the transition area and available on boards around the Registration area 9. When can I find out my time? I’m doing the series, where do I get my visor? Visit the Run Inn shop tent 11. I’ve found something!! What should I do with it? Hand any lost property in to the Run Inn shop tent 12. I’ve lost something!! What do I do? Go to the Run Inn shop tent and report your lost property
